We no longer live under the order of the Old Covenant, but under the New Covenant. God's heart of mercy has not changed. Therefore, giving is not about an imposed percentage, but about a generous, righteous, and responsible heart.

Tithing - Part 1
Within Israel, tithes were not an arbitrary financial rule, but a loving ordinance established by God: for His service, for those who had been set apart for that service, and for people who might otherwise have been forgotten.
