God's timing is always right

Galatians 4:4 (Contemporary English Version)
"But when the time was right, God sent his Son, and a woman gave birth to him. His Son obeyed the Law."

A promise that became reality

Sometimes we look at our lives and wonder why things take so long. Prayers seem unanswered, doors remain closed, and circumstances do not change the way we had hoped. It is precisely then that Galatians 4:4 reminds us of an important truth: God works according to His timing, not according to our clock. And His timing is always right.

The coming of Jesus was not a random event. For centuries, God had been preparing His people. Prophets had spoken about the promised Savior, and generations had looked forward to His arrival. When the right moment came, God fulfilled His promise. Not earlier and not later. Exactly on time.

The historical background shows how carefully God was working. During the time of Jesus, the Roman Empire connected many nations through roads, trade, and a common language. As a result, the message of the gospel could spread quickly. What seemed like an ordinary period to people was actually a moment in history carefully prepared by God.

Trusting while we wait

Waiting is never easy. Yet we often see only afterward how God was at work. In the church, people frequently share how closed doors eventually proved to be protection. In society, many discover that difficult seasons shaped them, strengthened them, and prepared them for new opportunities. What first appeared to be a disappointment later became part of God's guidance.

God sees the bigger picture. While we often see only today, He sees tomorrow as well. Therefore, we can trust that His plans reach far beyond what we currently understand.

Remember this

God never forgets His promises. His silence does not mean that He is absent. His delay does not mean that He has forgotten us. While we are waiting, He is often working behind the scenes on things we cannot yet see. The coming of Jesus proves that God always does what He promises.

Final thought

Galatians 4:4 shows us that God is never too early and never too late. When the time was right, He sent His Son as proof of His love and faithfulness. The same God still leads people step by step today. Therefore, we do not have to understand everything in order to trust Him. God's timing is perfect, His love never changes, and His plans are always focused on hope, life, and a future with Him.
