True peace begins close to God
Searching for peace and direction

These words were given while the people of Israël were traveling through the wilderness toward the land God had promised them. At that time, men and women could voluntarily take a Nazirite vow. They chose to dedicate themselves to God in a special way for a certain period of time. The outward rules were not the goal themselves, but a visible sign of a heart that wanted to follow God. Through this, God taught His people that true dedication begins on the inside. He is not looking for perfect people, but for people who are willing to trust Him.
