"God said to Moses, 'I am the eternal God. So tell them that the Lord, whose name is "I Am," has sent you.' The Lord God of their ancestors—the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—told Moses to say to the people: 'I am the God who will always be remembered as the one who has sent you.'"
When you don't know which way to go
Everyone experiences moments of uncertainty. You may be worried about your health, your family, your work, or your future. Sometimes it feels as though you are facing everything on your own. At times like these, the Bible reminds us that God wants to be near. He calls Himself, "I AM." By this, He shows that He is not only the God of the past, but also the God of today and tomorrow. His presence remains with you, even when your circumstances change.
A message that still brings hope today
God spoke these words to Moses at the burning bush. The people of Israel had lived as slaves in Egypt for many years and had almost lost all hope. Moses felt unqualified to carry out God's mission. Yet God did not point Moses to his own abilities, but to His own presence. "I AM"would go with him. Today, many people look for security in possessions, work, or success. But God's faithfulness never changes. He remains the same, even when life becomes uncertain.
God's love is seen in everyday life
In the church, God's presence is seen when people pray together, encourage one another, and care for each other. In everyday society, that same love becomes visible when a neighbor spends time with someone who is lonely, a colleague truly listens, or a volunteer offers help without expecting anything in return. Through these simple acts, God shows that He never forgets people.
Final thought
Perhaps today you do not know what the future holds. God does. He knows your life and promises to walk with you. Those who place their trust in Him discover that His presence brings peace, His faithfulness gives fresh courage, and His love carries them every single day.
