"Enoch, the seventh descendant of Adam, warned about those people when he said: 'Listen! The Lord will come with thousands and thousands of His holy ones to judge everyone. He will punish all the ungodly for the evil things they have done and for all the terrible things that sinful people have said against Him.'"
Stay close to God

Perhaps you sometimes wonder why injustice, lies, or dishonesty seem to win. These words from Jude may sound serious at first. Yet his message is meant to encourage you. Jude wrote his letter to Christians who were under great pressure. False teachers had entered the churches. They spoke impressive words, but their lives did not reflect God's truth. That is why Jude referred to Enoch. His prophecy reminds us that God holds history in His hands. He knows the difference between truth and deception, and one day He will bring perfect justice. Jude encourages believers to remain close to Jesus Christ and build their lives on Him.’

We also live in a world where success, power, and self-interest often seem more important than love and truth. We see this in society and sometimes even within the church.
