Judges 17:7–8 (Contemporary English Version)
"There was a young Levite from Bethlehem in Judah. He left Bethlehem to find another place to live. As he traveled, he came to Micah's house in the hill country of Ephraim."

You do not have to find your way alone

Perhaps you are wondering which direction your life should take. Maybe you are facing an important decision or searching for stability in an uncertain time. Many people look for security in work, money, relationships, or success. Yet the heart often remains restless. The Bible shows that true peace begins when you come to know God and trust Him to lead your life. He knows your life, your worries, and your future. You do not have to find the way on your own. God wants to guide you one step at a time.

A time when people chose their own way

The time of the Judges was a troubled period in Israël’s history. There was no king, and many people simply did what they thought was right. As a result, confusion, injustice, and spiritual emptiness spread throughout the land. The young Levite from Bethlehem was looking for a new place to live and a new future. His story shows how easily people choose their own path when they lose sight of God.

Even then, God continued to call His people back to Himself. He wanted to be their Guide and direct their lives. He longed for them to trust His wisdom instead of relying on their own understanding.

God still gives direction today

Even today, many people are searching for purpose and security. In the church, people discover that God's Word provides wisdom for their families, work, and relationships. In society, many find that life without God often feels empty and uncertain. But when you learn to trust Him, He fills your heart with peace, hope, and renewed courage. He gives wisdom for difficult decisions, strength during hard times, and peace that reaches deeper than your circumstances.

Jesus shows the way

Jesus came to bring people back to God. He knows your questions, your worries, and your deepest longings. He invites you to follow Him. Through His love we receive forgiveness, hope, and new life. Those who trust in Jesus never have to walk alone, because He goes with them every step of the way.

Final thought

Judges 17:7–8 reminds us how easily people can lose their way when they rely only on themselves. God invites you to let Him lead your life. He knows your future, shows you the right path, and remains faithful. Those who place their trust in God discover that His peace, wisdom, and love are enough for every step of life's journey.
