2 Corinthians 9:10–11 (Contemporary English Version)
"God gives seed to farmers and provides everyone with food. He will increase what you have, so that you can give even more to those in need. You will be made rich in every way, so that you can always be generous."

God gives so that you can be a blessing to others

Perhaps you are worried about the future. You wonder whether you will have enough or how you will face tomorrow's challenges. God knows your questions and sees exactly what you need. He gives not only what is necessary for daily life, but also courage, wisdom, love, and strength. His desire is not only for you to receive His blessings, but also for your life to become a source of hope and encouragement to others.

A message of hope and generosity

The apostle Paul wrote these words to the church in Corinth. He encouraged believers to be generous and to help one another. At the same time, he reminded them that God is the source of everything we receive. Just as a farmer receives seed to sow another harvest, God provides what we need so that we can do good and become a blessing to others.

That message is just as relevant today. God's gifts are never meant only for ourselves. He wants His love to flow through us to the people around us.

God still provides today

Even today God provides for people's needs. In the church, people care for one another through prayer, encouragement, and practical help. In everyday life, a kind word, a listening ear, or a helping hand can make a great difference. God uses ordinary people to make His love visible.

As we learn to share what God has given us, we discover that His grace continues to bear fruit. He often provides in ways we never expected.

Jesus is God's greatest gift

Jesus is the greatest proof of God's love. Through Him we receive forgiveness, peace, and new life. He teaches us not only to receive but also to give with love. Those who trust Him discover that God's grace never fails and that His love transforms the heart.

Final thought

2 Corinthians 9:10–11 reminds us that God is a faithful Father. He knows what you need and provides what is necessary for you to live and to be a blessing to others. Trust in His care. Those who receive with open hands and share generously discover that God's love, grace, and faithfulness are always more than enough.
